Ill watch it mos def. Maybe even pay for it. Would rather see him against Teo or devin or Ryan. Mario is a dangerous fight for tank because of height and reach advantages. Not to mention he has good pop. Very intriguing. Plus I really like the Lubin v rosario fight. Lubin can easily be put to sleep in that one. Both 50/50 fights imo.

My top 5 best African American fighters in order:
1. Gervonta Davis
2. Bud Crawford
3. Erickson Lubin
4. Jermell Charlo
5. Errol Spence
This is my list. Don't get personal. I can keep ranking them until 10, but these are the best.

I like Barrios a lot. I don't think he knows what he's getting into. I'll respect his will until the end.

Just like I believe Loma ventured too far up in weight, I believe this will be too much for Davis. Ironically it's about height and reach advantage as we all know - and we witnessed how even a great once in a generation fighter can be beaten by a taller, rangier opponent.
The only way (as I see it) to overcome this disadvantage is to be either a fleet-footed counter puncher or an all-out pressure fighter with a good chin.
I hope this is a good fight, but in the end, I think the laws of physics will be the decider.

Ryan is a bitch, all talk
Haney is behind Floyd's skirt
Lopez already said he didn't need the smoke
Barrios is more of a challenge than all the lightweights. Love yo see Davis give Loma a shot at lightweight.

I have a feeling that they are about to move Davis like they did Broner. Fast but calculated and try to maximize his achievements and money fights sooner than later. Likely, they're not sure Davis has the discipline to bank on long term. 140 is his absolute ceiling. It reminds of when Broner went from 135 to 147 to get a cheap belt from paulie.
