You can write these sort of the same article about all the sanctioning body, the WBC for example when Adonis was champion, When Wilder was champion sanctioning joke fights/mandatory in Bermane and Breazeale and the result was a proof that it was a joke mandatory, or Yildrim getting mandated after original fighting for the title, I don’t actually see anyone of these boxing media or journalists calling out the WBC shenanigans. But they love pointing fingers at IBF whose president probably isn’t as vocal as Sulieman.

Articles like this should just list the numbers using some cross belt rankings eg Ring/boxrec. Pulev was top 10 at the time (Ring 10th) and so is Kambossos not great but fine. Deines is 21st on boxrec which is bad and Yildrim was just inside the top 40 which is awful.

I suspect a special place in hell is going to the WBA for the next heavyweight mandatory they have rigged the rankings with almost all PBC / Don King fghters and Trevor Bryant (41st) is almost Joshuas mandatory which is another Yildrim in the making.

I'm of the opinion that all of the sanctioning bodies are more or less frauds and charlatans. The IBF has some questionable rankings (they all do) but at least they seem to consistently follow their own rules and don't have all the multiple "champions" or belts like the WBA and WBC.

Bob signed Pulev to Top Rank AFTER he became mandatory IIRC. Was an awful mandatory, but the logic was that he might as well get paid off it lol.

Most mandatories are awful. When they're good, 9/10 times the fighter will drop the belt
