no way Bivol is the same fighter at 168

Saunders has a better chance than a drained Bivol

A fight with Benavidez on Cinco de Mayo, Golovkin in September, and either Andrade or Charlo in December would make for a nice schedule. This assumes either Andrade or Charlo will actually step up rather than simply running their mouth complaining about being ducked.

nobody will avoid that HUGE payday

I can't imagine him standing and trading with the Mexican, even when he feels like the cards are getting away from him.

Saunders is actually better than he has shown as a professional to date, I remember watching him fight when he was just a kid,...the kid was HIGHLY skilled, way more skilled than Canelo was early in his career... but he would need to fight the perfect fight... he WILL need to fight Canelo, not just box him... kinda like Valdez did with Berchelt

Lmmao . The punching bag program continues. Clenelo needs to stop ducking Charlo, Benavidez and Andrade

This fight would be intriguing if Saunders was actually a dedicated boxer. Unfortunately he’s a head case who hasn’t had a meaningful win in over 3 yrs and even that was against a limited brawler. The other meaningful fight he was going to have vs Andrade was scrapped because he took banned substances. This is nothing more than another low risk title grab.

Saunders will have to be at the best he has ever been to beat canelo....his speed , footwork and technical ability will have to razor sharp and will need have stamina like never before .
we know canelo is one paced and that might be his only ***** in his armour , canelos one paced attack and his footwork will be Saunders only chance to pull off a huge upset

Saunders has only one exceptional win and that was Lemeux who was a brawler. He was exposed by Akavov and in my opinion gifted a home town decision. He had a chance to show how good he was against Andrade but we all know how that ended. Against Canelo he doesn't have the power. GGG in my opinion was robbed twice because he has the power which Canelo struggled with and Mayweather is one of the best fighters in History, Saunders is nowhere near that class. I predict a UD or late stoppage for Canelo.

I believe that Bivol could make 168 favourably, however we are watching a true great in Canelo right now.

the most likely result of that fight... Bivol takes a loss, then moves straight back to 175... muttering something about feeling sluggish/weak

Get the fight made then, Bivol at any weight is a stylistic nightmare for Canelo.
