    Opponents vs Canelo

This is not just about Yilidrim tonight but why do fighters shell up against Canelo and not throw anything?

When you miss Canelo makes you pay better than most could or will.

Its obviously a self defeating tactic doe. Can't win a fight if you aren't throwing punches. Or simply are throwing less than you usually would.

Have you seen Canelo's counter punching? It's not even that they're bombs, it's that they're so accurate too.

It’s timing and the weight of the shot you can hear they are thudding shots and when they get countered they’re like oh ****ttt.

then they proceed to shell up.

look for bjs to start strong then once he gets countered it’s over he’ll look to either survive or give up.

Counterpunchers love it when you open up and throw a lot of punches.

You soon learn that it plays to their strengths.

I thought about this too. It's not like he has crazy power; but his timing and counters make him elite. GGG, who has a granite chin, was hesitant. Jacobs called him a pot shotter; not sure if it's accurate, but the point is that is his timing combined with very good/even if not great power is what shells up opponents. The timing is just as important, and perhaps more so, than raw power.

It’s combination of power and timing because of you take floyd for example another great counter puncher but he has zero power so guys were never afraid to attack but with canelo he has heavy hands with power and timing so if you come at him you’re walking into fire.

because they are mentally weak. chavez jr, callum smith and now yildirm all shelled up and they all are mental weaklings.
