Nacho an avg trainer, well I guess all those champions he's trained just did that themselves.......

Some people make you shake your head..
Im goin to try and interpret ur broken grammar. Nothing wrong with my statements. Nacho has been proven to be average and u will see again come sept. This is the guy who has failed numerous times at developing a gameplan to defeat the limited but game pacq.

The weight thing u made no sense in so I see no need to address it unless u care to clarify.

If you walk around at 140+ and you're training profusely, you're going to lose weight. The weights would help him maintain or gain weight better.

Pac nuthuggers are trying all they can to downgrade and diminish Floyd and this fight, I wouldn't be surprised if Nacho said the opposite.
A good trainer knows not to let his fighter bulk up like that just to put on weight he doesnt even need. Hell, even I know that and so do u genious who knows all. Try again and come correct. And BTW, I acknowledge pacq as nuthing more than an opportunistic B+ fighter.

nacho just goes to show u that he is an average trainer at best, but they could jus be blowing hot air for strategy sake. I mean who does this b4 a mega bout?

        maybe its a way out.
His "walk around" weight is not his fighting weight. He had to lift to gain weight; he's not a Welterweight.

          Ricardo Lopez
          Juan Manuel Marquez
          Rafael Marquez
          Daniel Zaragoza
          Chiquita Gonzalez

Fighters that turned pro with Nacho. If he's average at best, then every other trainer is garbage. No other trainer has trained 5 fighters of that caliber from the beginning. So you're the one that needs to come correct.

Like I said, the only thing this say is he's not that good of a strength and conditioning coach. A trainer knowing strength and conditioning techniques is a plus not a requirement.

The Pac nuthugger comment wasn't for you either, unless the shoe fits. I doubt the validity of this story anyway.

When you're training, you NEVER tell your opponent that you're weak in a certain area. You never tell them that you sprained your left hand or else your opponent will take advantage.

So why would a trainer like Nacho do that?

I think these are mind games...or the interview never happened.
            Yeah. Whats up with Nacho?

Walk around weight does not equal natural fighting weight.

You are making a fool of yourself in this thread, just so you know.

He said that JMM had carried his speed to WW and that everything was on point.
that's good to hear. someone should correct the topic on the front page.

that's what i was saying, assuming the article isn't a fake. i would believe nacho saying JMM is slow just as much as i believe floyd has a rib injury, much like i believe juan's plan is to attack floyd's 'injured' ribs. i.e. not very much at all. it would be like the cowboys, before their season opener, saying "our run game is really weak this season, we're going to play 75% in the air." no coach or trainer would reveal such information if not to mess with the opposition's plan. that being said, one doesn't have to pull my arm too hard to convince me this article is a gross mis-interpretation.

                      From Philboxing:

"Juan Manuel is very strong, he looks like a natural welterweight, but it worries me a lot that we can't get to the speed level that we are looking for us to be at ease, we can't compete with a fighter of the quality of Floyd Mayweather with that fu***** lack of speed. The sparring partners are not a problem, it is the work we did to increase the muscle. He is tense and as I said he is very strong and buffed, but he has no speed at this point and that is because the weight lifting he did was excessive. Is like a soccer player after working with weights they are strong but they lack the speed and the rhythm to compete. That is the way Juan Manuel is right now I am desperate at this point. But there is still time to get him speed but the problem is that the weight lifting is giving us a hard time." said Nacho who know Juan Manuel extremely well."

                      source:
Maybe he`s the exact opposite. They may be controlling the odds in PBF`s favor so that if JMM wins, they would rake in big money in return for small investment.
