Especially when you consider Cotto fans hate Floyd (for the most part), and Manny fans hate Marquez (again, for the most part).

Mayweather vs. Marquez is going to be electric and I'm looking forward to it much more than Pacquiao/Cotto because to me ; Floyd/Juan Manuel is a much more interesting technical fight, whereas Manny/Miguel is basically a foregone conclusion ; Pacquiao stretches him.
      no he didn't.

lets do this betting thing, 30k?

I like both of these fighters and recognize both as two of the best in the world.
I am definitely Paying to watch this one, for the main event alone I would PPV, but am glad to see it has a good undercard too.
With that Im sure every Puerto Rican in the world Feels the same as me including Supreme Court Judge Sotomayor.

people harp on about the weight, which yes is something to consider, but Mayweather hasnt fought in about 2 years now, right? besides, Marquez has been weighing in over 140 on fight night for a while anyway. hes still obviously the smaller man, but dont exaggerate. yall were dead wrong when you said the same thing about Pacquiao-De La Hoya.

and even if Marquez is over his head because of the size differential and everything, you dont go through a fight with guys as talented as these two without being impressed with the skill level.

Im all for this PPV, it has a great undercard and theyre simply marketing it smart. I hope other big cards take note, and even improve on it.
Good post. I still wish however, that Floyd had chosen a welterweight contender for this tune-up. Still it's good for boxing that he returns. Let's hope he chooses the legacy fights after this.

holy ****ing bull**** you people are like maggots, coming back to the same old bull**** over and over again. you care more about whos the bigger ppv draw and whats popular than respecting the fact that you have a great card.

stop the bitching, be thankful and give credit to the promoters for stepping up for once, regardless of the reason why.
You're generalizing a nationality, yet I'm a bastard? LOL SMH...

I'm not denying the under card is good, but I'm done giving Floyd the pass. Until he fights the fights we all want to see...Ill download the fight in the morn.

              If you say so.

I say Cotto gets on his bicycle all night until he gets stretched in the 9th.

That fight is a foregone conclusion : Manny wins. The only question is "how?".

Whereas I see Marquez as a live underdog in this one, but that may just be false hope since I'm a huge supporter of his.

              no he didn't.

I don't even think I have 30K free, the majority of my points are riding on Floyd/Juan Manuel.

But I'll make another 30K by then, no doubt.

So sig that **** ; Manny is going to **** him.

Your all wrong and your generalizing. Dont even try and make us out to be like Pac Fans.
Most Puerto Rican boxing fans recognize good fighters, be it slick boxer, Traditional boxer, Pressure fighters, Brawlers, KO artists,Boxer/punchers Runners, whatever. I like them all, but some more than others.
I cant wait to see this fight....Marquez is great and Floyd is too. Like them both.
Wipe your hate its drippin all over!

Im not saying that Marquez is by any means the perfect fight for Floyd, but how in the hell can you not want to see him fight someone as skilled as Marquez?

Its not like Mayweather is the sort of guy who 'imposes his size' on his opponents anyway, he never has been even when he did have a size advantage.

Im more interested in this than when Mayweather fought Hatton.

Yo Bringer, I'm glad you stick with your guy but seriously, you gonna be E-Broke, E-Points don't mean anything but don't think Mayweather is rusty rusty, remember when Mayweather walked away from Marquez during their announcentment? Mayweather specifically said, "I'm gonna slay him", thats when I knew, as a fan, that Mayweather only has a little rust to shake out. For all we know, he might have come back re energized, may the best man win though.
