    His jab kept hitting his gloves? And this was a judge that was closer to the action than anyone?!?!

    Paulie was scoring all night with that jab - 2,3,4,5 time in a row. Popping right through Diaz's guard.

      apparently Van Hoy doesn't care much for jabs. Maybe he would of favored Chagaev over Klitschko if he did that fight!

              He is right when he says that Diaz picked a lot of his jabs off, something others dont seem to have picked up on.

              A lot of his jabs missed.

                It happens sometmes though and you may not even realise it, if you don't see a punch clearly land because it was blocked by the ref etc. but the crowd are cheering like crazy as if it landed. Then you might think it landed...

                But whatever Van Hoy was ******ed or something that night cause 118 is way to high for Diaz.

                  Fine, be that as it may. While Paulie was missin' what exactly was Juanita doin' in return? ****, Zero, Nada.

                  Juan was getting manuevered with that jab and head & foot movement of Paulie. That's what ring generalship is!

                  So, the jab may have been missin', but it did its job. Which was nullify Baby Bull****'s forward attack!!

                  I noticed that Juanita throughout the fight was really just punching in spurts, unlike in many of his previous fights, were he just threw and threw from start to finish. In the end, Juanita's aggression was ineffective for a good portion of the bout! Thanks to Paulie's "inaccurate jab".

                  How about the air punching that Juanita was doin' all night, lol

                    more or less this is what i was going to say in return to the other poster's comment. its true. while many jabs did miss paulie still landed a whole hella lot more of his jabs than diaz. in fact. according to compubox (again bustin out those facts) paulie landed 111 of 621 jabs to diaz' landing 55 of 229.

                    so paulie landed twice as many jabs as juan did and threw 3x's as many as well. hell paulie threw 80 something of them in the very first round! in fact. in NO round did diaz land more jabs than paulie. NONE.

                    paulie threw nearly 300 more punches than diaz.

                    keep in mind were talking about PAULIE (the boxer) against diaz (the VOLUME PUNCHER).

                    somethings wrong with that picture aint it?

                    paulie also landed more punches overall than diaz. AND threw more.
