Oscar was at 154 for a million years, Floyd had just 3 fights at WW(which he came into the ring at 146 for all of them) and yet he moved up to 154 to fight Oscar. So many guys have done it and JMM has been not only winning but straight killing elite guys. No one has been more impressive then this cat. If Pac had fought Casa or Diaz at LW instead of David Diaz then I bet everyone wouldve said that he shouldnt move up at all, let alone go to WW. You dont do it until you do it. I remember after the Castillo fight I saw a million writers say that Floyd is way too small & frail to ever move up in weight. Since then the guy has fought way above Castillo's weight and moved all the way up to Jr Middle. These guys do amazing things, e****ally if they're talented. Look, I wouldnt be shocked 1 bit if JMM got slaughtered but that doesnt mean that he's too small or that this fight shouldnt be hyped. He's facing the best guy in the sport. I could see JMM getting killed by Floyd, then going down to 140 and own Kahn & Hatton

Mayweather was 148 pounds on fight night vs. DLH. DLH was 160. Don't come back into this thread.

DLT, you're cool and all but on the real, even if you cut that **** in half, it'd still be too much to read. I'm not trying to be offensive, I'm seriously trying to help you out here. What I'm saying is, your NEVER gonna get that across, unless you stop typing THAT much.

Floyd will dominate Marquez AND it will be the best fight of the year. No reason why domination can't be fun. Michael Jordan, Barry Bonds, and Tiger Woods dominated their sports too, but they did it with so much style that it was like watching art. Just like Floyd.

Why should any boxing fan hype up this fight,I'll tell ya what's gonna happen, floyd is gonna beat Marquez, why, because he is supposed to,that's why!!No one is gonna hype this fight because 90% of true fight fans know that floyd has all the advantages over Marquez except heart & the layoff!!Maybe if floyd came back to fight say,Mosley or Cotto, then their might be some interest!!If the layoff is ur defense, well guess what,SRL came back from retirement & fought Hagler, why?because thats what great fighters do!!

I'm hyped for it. Not Cotto-Pac hyped, but hyped nonetheless. And I'm not even a Floyd fan.

Sure, JMM is an underdog, but there are enough factors for it to an intriuging fight - Floyds inactivity, his age, the momentum JMM is carrying into the fight, JMM's skillset and experience, the fact that Floyd isn't exactly a huge Welterweight, etc..

Is the size differential any greater than Pac has against Cotto? I don't think so.

I actually think the hate is a backhanded compliment to Floyd, because even with the ring rust he's gonna carry into this fight against the p4p number 2 and a modern great in JMM, he's still seen as too good for Marquez.

I actually think it's gonna be more competitive than people think. I've liked this fight from the start. I mean, how can you not enjoy the idea of boxings two best technicians going at it?

First you guys call this a "Tune Up" fight, now all of a sudden Floyd's in for a hell of a fight? Which is it?
