lol.floyd never ducked cotto..if u remember correctly in an interview with larry merchant, when asked if he (cotto) would like to fight pbf, cotto did not say yes, he said "umm..i'll fight whoever my team thinks is the next best fight for me..." cotto could have easily said "yeah i'll fight pbf, and whoever else wants be crushed under my power.." but he didnt...

marquez won more rounds than pacquiao did in the 2 fights that they had it was just the knock downs that made the fights close, i do agree with floyd that marquez is the tougher fight because manny is not that good of a boxer and can't really out box someone especially someone like floyd mayweather,if manny doesn't knock his opponents down or out he most likely won't win and floyd mayweather has never been down or out

Fair one . I watched that Diaz Marquez fight the other night .Floyd even said it hiself .A small guy will never retire him and we all know that .Looking at the Mayweather DelaHoya fight at 154 and Diaz Marquez at 135. I think Floyd will win it pretty comfortably

he ain't lied...JMM got the best of Manny. Folks keep saying manny came from 135 once to fight at 147. but it was against a guy who hadn't fought at 147 in 10 yrs. and to add salt to injury, manny was weighing 145 for 130 lb fights.
Now he is fighting fighters who are bigger than him and coming in at the actual weight of the weight class...so this is good. But manny making huge jumps in weight is truly a fallacy. He has not been a 130 lb fighter for awhile now. he is a legit 140 lb and him making his jump to 147 is the same as floyd jumping to 154....except floyd fought a champion and gave up all stipulations while the champ weighed amount of a MW. So basically a WW beat a Mw that night!

tend to see it one sided. Arum kept Cotto from Floyd
at 140 AND Cotto has NEVER officially said "I want to fight
Floyd Mayweather Jr" That's all he had to do make me
believe he wanted it with Floyd. Every other fighter has
called Floyd out except Cotto? Cotto was the challenger
and Floyd was the champ, why wouldn't he not call him
out especially if he felt he could beat him? Cotto was at
the Gatti fight (R.I.P), and Jim Lampley said and I quote
"Miguel Cotto is in the crowd and potentially next in line
to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr but I wouldn't recommend it"
Cotto style is tailor made for Floyd, Cotto struggled against
Mosley and Clottey boxing skills? Could you imagine Floyd
in there with Cotto? Floyd is an inch taller if I'm not mistaken
and has a longer reach....... Floyd would mopped the floor
with Cotto BUT I still would like to see them fight.
