Presently, none of em do. Ideally, at least imo, 24/7 would be limited to superfights and once in a lifetime events. A gr8 rivalry comin to a head, a division bein unified between 2 star champions, sumthin like that.

Cotto vs Pacquiao is a megafight and the biggest fight of year. It should have a 24/7.

As stated homey, neither guy speaks a lotta English, and neither guy talks trash anyways. 24/7 is built on smack talk, and these guys do their talkin in the ring.

          agreed!
but u gotta agree that thats in the past and now would be a fantasy!
the so-called "elite" now talk about catchweights, ppv #s, fan bases, and some just refuse to speak up all together. and their silence aint about quite confidence, its about negotiations. i'm a bit salty with the game right! fighters cherry picking and management and promoters using smoke and mirrors to gouge the public.

nowadays the best we get is watching prospects and wondering how far their drive will get them and wat their legacy will be at the end of their careers. didnt mean to vent aloud.

Keep in mind that neither one of these guys is exactly what you would consider 'skilled' in the English language. Nor are they charismatic. So, you will have four episodes of subtitles. With Cotto saying the same boring drivel over and over: "he is a good fighter. I am prepared. I trained hard".

Meanwhile, Pacquiao will be praying in an empty church. If you notice, they try to make the Pac 24/7 episodes about his entourage: buboy, roach, moorer, etc.

            ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz

Who cares? These two guys are the most exciting boxers in the world right now and giving the fight a 24/7 would help grow their popularity and sell the fight. The 24/7 will happen is part of the fight agreement with HBO.

It's the job of HBO's producers and directors to make sure that the 24/7 episodes will be appealing and interesting enough for viewers to tune in.

Mayweather/Hatton was hands down THE best 24/7 ever.

That countdown show people went nuts over. I was in Austin, Texas that month and people would literally be asking about "that mayweather show".
That promotion and show really helped sell alot of PPV's.

When someone is willing to put the bad guy hat on that fight automatically sells 25% more than if it was billed differently.
