Pacquiao fights tend to sell out instantaneously. The Hatton fight sold out in a day, the Oscar fight in hours.

this is a good thing. but as far as hating on mayweather because of the cotto - pac ticket sales is rediculous because pbf will whip both of them. and he will be paid more. so hate on haters. but watch your blood pressure after pbf spank marquez first then the winner of this fight.

I knew this fight had potential to be huge...
People will say that it's mostly Pac....and for the most part I agree...Cotto is Definitely the B-side on this one...but if Pac was fighting Bradley or Campbell at 140 there wouldn't be this much hype....It takes 2 ...like a Mayweather to an Oscar.
Pac and Cotto are going to do huge numbers because there is a real ? on this fight.
It could go both ways...in very BIG ways.

It is a well known fact that Floyd gets some of the best walk up crowds in the history of sport.
The tickets are not selling fast because he has not fought in 2 years, but the day of the fight, scalpers will be fetching around $10000 a ticket for nosebleed seats.
Just Kidding :-).

Mayweather though being the self proclaimed cash cow of boxing used ticket and ppv sales as a crtuch to avoid or take specific fights.
