Plus comparing him to bolt is completely different....bolt is 22...of course hes going to keep improving, manny is At his prime now...and he could stay in it for 2-3 years probably because he has such a good lifestyle maybe even longer....i trust freddy roach to much to do anything dodgy like that, and i would say if he found out anything was going on he wouldnt keep it a secret, he loves boxing to much

You guys are idiots if you can't comprehend the simple logic of your body growing. Manny was frikin like 16 years old when he illegally entered the ring under the required weight even. He was a starving little kid who finally got to eat after winning bouts and thus has grown into an adult. I don't see anything crazy about it. It just proves how great he was to win world titles at a young age and continue to as he's put on the weight. You think Roach would attempt anything illegal to jeopardize his fighters status or reputation as a trainer? Get real.

Many great boxers land that career best punch and maybe Manny landed his against Hatton. A perfect opponent at a perfect time. First off that punch was impressive, no one could deny it. The punch that Manny landed reminded me of the right hand that Hopkins knocked Allan out with. A weird angle but perfect.
But Hatton showed us before he was past it post-Mayweather. He had a serious erosion of abilities, abilities that defined him and a little shadow of doubt in his mind regarding his confidence that was strong enough to make him change trainers in a self admitted attempt to extend his career. This doesn't take away the fact that Hatton is usually a very dangerous and strong opponent who has only lost to the FORMER p4p best. But he was a guy on the wrong side of up. He had shown to be chinny as of late and was caught flush and hurt early. For whatever reason Hatton decided to ignore his corners advice, throw his brain in the garbage and fight like he had a helmet and bullet proof vest on. Since the fight even Hatton admitted that was dumb.
Personally I think Manny is actually a well suited opponent for Cotto to shine against. He is the first smaller fighter Miguel Cotto has faced since Zab Judah. Cotto shines when facing smaller guys even the fast ones. Cotto's power and bruising punches will show up early on Manny. I think it could end up a classic Cotto fight, one in which he batters his opponent into a stoppage. Manny is no push over but I dont see him being able to keep Cotto off of him or push Cotto backwards. Its simple, Many is no sharp shooter he has evolved into a speedy guy whopunishes you into submission. If Manny proves himself to be the evolved boxer I think he has become to an extent that may well prove to be the difference but I am willing to wait and see if he truly can step it up to the level many people have already elevated him to against a prime Welterweight champ.
So basically everyone needs to calm down on this Manny walks on water stuff, just chill. He will have his chance to either live up to the hype or find himself in one of the toughest fights of his career.

I refuse to believe the premise that somehow Manny's success is built around performance enhancers. Not really worth a response, a ****** suggestion.

We are on the steroid era. Where the nicest, most loved, and most influential athletes are unfortunately using performance enhancing drugs, not all but most. And maybe yours and my favorite athletes are on it too.
But honestly, i think that Manny Pacquiao is where he is at, fair and square. His power at the higher weights is indeed steroid-like, but i think it's because he's not killing himself to make the weight and gets to eat more which = being healthier, more powerful, and more comfortable at the higher weights.
