He'd actually be stronger. When you fight at the lower weight classes you really shouldn't stay there your entire career, after a while it becomes taxing to make the weight. Hatton looked healthier at 147lb than he did 140lbs.

I agree with the first part.

Ricky Hatton NEEDS!! a size advantage to win fights because his skill level is so poor.

Ricky Hatton is getting severely underrated now. Hatton lost two fights to P4P ranked #1 champions and regardless of what's being said Ricky was competitive with Floyd until the 8th round when Floyd really hurt him to the body and NO the "turnbuckle" didn't KO Hatton because if you actually watched the fight (not just a gif) then you would know that Hatton got up after that punch and it took several more shots before Floyd got the stoppage.

If Hatton wasn't an A class fighter at 140 then he would have numerous losses (like Gatti did, not just the losses to the P4P champs on his record) and he would never have been able to get championships in 2 weight divisions with victories over 2 really good champions (Tszyu, Collazo) in their respective weight divisions and also several top contenders and legends. Lazcano "almost" beating Hatton by hitting him with ONE good punch while being dominated and losing every round is ridiculous, as many posters on NSB tend to be so I guess it's just par for the course. Trolls, trolls, trolls...

Exactly why I think if he fought at 147 hed do a better job vs. Pac.

Ricky Hatton was never anything special. Who has he beaten? Kostya, who was already basically retired? Hatton is a fraud.
