Look at his last fight with Pac, he was thinking in his stool at 8 rounds that he felt going to be KOed at 9 rounds by a LW "midget" as the same manner he did to DDiaz, and the best way to avoid much embarassment, is to QUIT! NO KD much more no KO of course!!! hahaha!!!

DDiaz shouldn't be KOed at 9 should he opted to quit at 8, and people would say Pac could not even KOed DDiaz! Brilliant move for ODLH!

De La Hoya was KO buy Hopkins and was even counted out.

Manny is going to win this fight via technical knockout in round 8 via Miguel Cotto suffering a deep wound above his eye. Pacquiao will then go on to win the election and fight Shane Mosley at 143 and will be introduced as, "7 Title Belt Holder in 7 Divisions, Pound for pound King, The Honorable Congressman, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao!

He will beat Mosley via unanimous decision. Due to Floyd Mayweather's reluctance to fight Manny, he will announce his retirement. Floyd, with IRS behind his back will commit suicide by calling Pacquiao out and losing an 8th round knockout via a left hook.

Pacquiao will then announce he will retire for good and serve his constituents. Amen!

Oh! As to Cotto, he sees himself on the canvass hence his announcement of an early retirement. You know the drill, right ODLH and Hatton?

Possibly, but for lovers of the sweet science in its purest form, the Mayweather-JMM bout is mouth-watering. It's the 2 best technical boxers today going at it.

I Would put Ivan Calderon in front PBF and JMM as the best purest technical boxer, just because Calderon uses his quickness not only to throw and connect fom every angle like PBF but to avoid and dodge what ever is thrown at him. PBF covers more his chin very well as his defensive trademark but doesn't have the defensive movements that Calderon has. He is the only boxer in the sport that can frustrate an oponent just with his defense. not to mention that he will probably hit you 5 times and when you throw your 1st punch he's alread 3 or 5 ft away from you.

Yeah, I could see a PBF-Cotto fight happennig early next year if Cotto beats Pacquiao but i dont think Pacman-PBF will happen if it is Pacman who beats Cotto.

When it comes to negotiating fights, Cotto doesn't seem to have problem and wil probably accept the lowest % against PBF but we all know that Pacman and PBF will both be demanding a higher % to fight each other and thats going to be a huge obstacle specially when both boxers can choos from a variety of boxers that will still pay them decent money, not the same amount as facing each other, but decent.

I don't beleive he is overrated. People kind of look at his last 2 fights and forgets what he has done during the rest of his career.

His last 2 fights do not define what Pacquiao has done in boxing, it just raised his superstar status and popularity. Everybody knows that DLH was drained and old but it was his decision to fight Pacquiao under those circumstances and Pacman took advantage not only on that but on DLH popularity to raise his own. Smart move if you ask me. Then there's the Hatton fight. Do people forget that Hatton spend a lot of time in the P4P top 10 list and Pacquiao destroyed him in 2 rounds??? But lets take away these 2 fights and you will still see a great resume with 6 victories over 3 future hall of fame greats and considered at those moments as part of the p4p best also, (Morales, Barrera, JMM) not to metioned that 3 of those victories came via KO. If you add to this, that his pro debut was at 107lbs you will have a resume that a lot of current Hall Of Fame boxers will envy.

Whether or not he will be successful at WW is yet to be seen but Pacquiao has earned his right to enjoy the popularity that he has and the rating (#1) of the current P4P best is very well deserved.

let's not forget that the fans from both camp will enjoy this. Cotto and MP were professional and respectful to each other. MP got a loud cheer from Rican fans when he watched Cotto Clottey fight. Im sure Cotto will get the same treatment from pinoy fans as well so there is no need for hate remarks...Lets just enjoy this, this is good for the fans and good for boxing. The purest boxing pundits loves the technical side of boxing, unfortunately, they are a dying breed which is nearing it's extinction. The casual fans are what the promoters been courting to sustain whatever momemtum boxing has gotten from the few great fights in recent years, and the best way to win them over is put up a thrill-a-minute, non-stop action, do-or-die fights, and the Pacman/Cotto fight fits this description. This is where we see the glitz and the glamor side of boxing. People from all walks of life, including sports, showbiz and political personalities rub elbows.

This fight is definitely IT...
