pathetic how american media praise those ****ty contracts they give to UFC fighters......i mean boxing needs to lower their pay, because they do pay too much for status(say, guaranteeing dates for unknown fighters with no fans like berto or williams just because they are seen as skilled by a network) instead of value(by this i mean fighters who actually generate money by selling ppv's and putting butts in seats).........but sriously UFC makes more sells on a consistent basis than boxing, and yet superstar fighters make 500000 at most...

First of all we shouldnt compare the two sports because MMA has not evolved into what it will be. Eventually the one of those smaller market companies will get enough money to compete with the UFC. Then Dana wont have the same pull with fighters as he does now. Wether he knows it or not he cant bully everyone. He most definetly created a monster with Anderson Silva. Where ever Silva goes fight fans will follow(me included). He will be broken from the inside out. He is turning into Vince and doesnt see it (WWE). White better make sure he protects his nest by keeping his respect for his fighters. The plan public humiliation bit he used on Ortiz wont work with Silva as long as he keeps whippin ass.

I'm surprised this writer got Dana's balls out his mouth enough time for him to write this article. Or maybe he knows how to multitask.

Its funny, I wrote a long and detailed comment on his article about Dana White and the side of the MMA business that never gets covered in these fluff pieces and they didn't/refused to publish it on their website.

Yea boxing in the U.S is struggling but trust me it will always be around. Boxing is still huge in Mexico but it keeps feeding Mexican with Chavez Jr. **** Build-ups (they deserve better). I do agree a little with the article in the sense that its ****ed up how we dont get the best fighters fighting eachother. All you guys need to stop ripping on Mayweather-Marquez , goldenboy is giving you guys the an awesome card man john vs juarez, zab judah and katsidis vs escobedo. I know the average fan dont care but Im sure boxing junkies like me are rubbing their balls in anticipating this fight. I do wish some day boxing will get something done about this promotional drama and interm belts and WBO stripping titles and bull**** like that. and the last 3 UFC's ****** in my opinion!! Props to Machida vs Evans though.
