Marquez's chin vs Mayweather???

Right i'm watching Pacquiao / Marquez I right now, after re-witnessing, i think, the 2nd Knockdown, (the straight left in the 1st round.) I'm wondering can Marquez's chin hold up to Mayweathers punches in bunches?

Hi Mang, i know May ain't a puncher but i'd say he is compared to a Pacquiao punch, and the fact JMM isn't Welter surely means his chin will give out mid rounds. I hope not as i think Marquez deserves the respect, but...........

Marquez's chin seems to get better as the fight goes on, which is generally the opposite for fighters. And one thing I'll say about Marquez- he ALWAYS gets up when you knock him down. A knock down for Marquez doesn't break his spirit, it brings out his fighting spirit. Gotta love that trait in a fighter.

I think Mayweather is a big enough puncher and a big enough dude to finish off Marquez though. It's not a knock on Marquez, and I'm not praising Mayweather. I just think when you combine Mayweather's speed and strength and ability to hit his opponents with punches they don't see coming that it will all be too much for JMM.

That could be his downfall. coming back after 2 years of retirement to a war might not be in mayweather best interest

Not knocking him Larry but who IYO did Floyd fight that is bigger than him? I'd like to have a look at those fights to see what you're saying.
