hope this happens.. this is good **** a week after the marquez vs mayweather bout. I think if Pavlik and Williams go at it this could be very well candidate for fight of the year. We need this as fans

Beat the hell out of Kelly Pavlik THEN you can negotiate on your terms.
get the best deal BUT with that said Goosen/Haymon shouldn't
let this opportunity pass, considering! that it will be on HBO
AND it is for the title at 160. Williams stands to win a lot more
in the long run.

Did Willimas ever win the Undisputed World Title at any weight class, beating a linear Ring ****zine Champion?
Your logic is skewed.[/SIZE]
One could say that Paul DOMINATED Winky Wright. The same Winky Wright who many people felt beat the same Jermain Taylor(I personally had it a draw) Pavlik did for the championship.
Therefor one could say that Pauls biggest win is on par with Pavliks. That is hardly disputable.

Why take nothing, when you can potentially get a piece
of it all by holding out a lil? IF it was me and it's not, I would
take the $1.55 MIL and the opportunity BUT you have to
understand that the guys trying to negotiate this fight is
talking for Pavlik/Williams. I think this fight could be the
career boost Williams needs to reach the point where he
becomes a bigger name and IF his team can't come to an
arrangement then they will hurt his rep and name UNLESS
they have other plans for Paul. I agree that Williams doesn't
have the luxury to disregard fighters because he is still trying
to break out.

What have you done for me lately?
Pavlik made a name off of Jermaine Taylor and Miranda.. neither of whom can box. What have you done for me lately? Williams on the other hand dominated Winky Wright and beat Margarito with casts on. Pavlik aint ****. Did you not see Hopkins school him like an amateur?
