and how could Henry Armstrong fight for a Welterweight title at 138?
and that link doesn't really help you out
as it just lists the MAX weight for divisions.
why say 140 as part of the range for Welterweight? it isn't, 140 is the max for the division just below Welter ... Junior Welter.Last edited by MJ406; 07-26-2009, 10:32 AM.

is "a boxing weight class with a max of 147" or "a boxing weight class where fighters can weigh up to 147 pounds"
so if you want to say Welterweight is from above 140 to 147
that's fine and dandy, but recognize that your adding it into the WW definition
because all the welterweight division definition really says is "up to 147"

i said THIS IS MUCH BETTER:
pac vs. pbf
marquez vs. hatton
cotto vs. mosley(rematch)
THEN:
"winner of pac vs. pbf(the runner)" vs. winner of
"winner of marquez vs. hatton" vs. "winner of cotto(didn[t like your performance against clottey, you almost lost) vs. mosley II"
MY PREDICTIONS:
"pbf wouldnt run(shameful) anymore"
winner=pac vs. winner of
marquez vs. mosley
pac vs. marquez
winner=pac(6th/7th round KO)
THEN RETIRE and do your best to achieve you7r dream to be a politician/great actor
