Was Kotelnik a Euro level fighter or a World Class fighter.

Was Kotelnik Euro level fighter or a World Class fighter? I dont care if he was a TITLE HOLDER, he was not a World Class fighter and if there were only one belt out there Kotelnik would not get a sniff of it because he is not World Class, if there were an established Champ and one belt he would be nothing more than a tough contender.

Sometimes throughout Boxing you see World Champions that you know are good fighters but they are not World Class and Kotelnik is a case in point.

Call me hater but i will take notice of Khan's achievements when he shows what he can do against World Class opposition, not Euro title holders.

    Poll to come.

The best thing to come of this is that now MAYBE he will fight a World Class fighter to let us know if he can cut it at the top, having said that with Warren as his promoter he might be fighting a blown up SFW.

A post by Machine...............Khan did say that he felt Kotelnik was not only the worst world champion in the division or any division actually, he thought Kotelnik was the worst world champion in boxing history.

And obviously, he's not world world class, but he's a solid boxer.

Everyone thought Khan was gonna win on points ages ago anyway,

Kotelnik wasnt the most agile, powerful or fast opponent but he did have an outstanding amateur pedigree and gave real world class fighters like Witter some tough nights. So yeah maybe not a top 5 guy but he did earn that title

He is a contender in a division which lacks depth.

Kotelnik won his belt from Gavin Rees of all people, that should say it all. I'm not saying he isn't a top light welter and a good win for Khan but it's a bit humorous to call Kotelnik or Khan a "world champion". I guess calling him a world title claimant would be fair though, since there is no official light welterweight champion at the moment.

Kotelnik beat Maidana, so I guess he's European level.

Lets not forget he's rated above Holt, Urango, Malignaggi and Ortiz @ 140 Lbs. But I guess he's just a little Euro bum.

Euro class, obviously. According to the hater mentality that necessarily follows if the guy being hated upon wins.

Witter is a B Class World level fighter though, its not like Kotelnik was fighting a Prime Shane Mosley.
