Will a Victory Tomorrow Gain Khan Respect?

I will admit that I too have always thought that Amir Khan was not quite deserving of the attention that was brought to the early stages of his career. For a while now, however, I have felt that he has developed an entertaining style of boxing - and it seems now that he is being tested more.

Will a victory tomorrow gain Amir Khan respect in the eyes of his critics?

If he wins tomorrow, can you see him going on to become a notable boxer - if not a legend?

I will reserve my own opinions for a while longer I think...Sometimes I feel like I really don't know what to make of him - Maybe it's his association with Frank Warren that makes me feel uneasy toward him.

Time will tell - I'm looking forward to tomorrow's fight.

Coming from someone who dislikes Amir, I can honestly say "yes". If he wins tomorrow night, it will improve my opinion of him. I won't say that I don't 'respect' him, because I do respect him - I'm just one of the farthest things from a fan one could imagine. I see him getting KOd 9-12. I hope he proves me wrong.

if amir wins he definitely will gain some respect..he's gaining a belt at 140 with a tough competitor whose losses are controversial..however they are going after a title holder whos KO percentage is very low!!!!!!!!!!

The problem with khan is people ACTUALLY hate him...its crazy...

But i will say he will gain respect from the REAL boxing fans...

But hes still going to get critisized by all the haters and people that dislike him...

I alrdy got respect for him, hes young and hes with the best trainer and boxer he could be with right now....hes got a good career ahead of him and i hope he wins tomorrow night, and i hope theres no cuts or anything that will ruin the fight or give people more excuses like how "barrera would of won" lol...

My trainer believes that Khan will win on points - I can't say I'm all too convinced right now.

I agree with you though that it will only gain him respect with the real boxing fans.

            Haters will always be haters.

Real boxing fans will give him respect.

Haters and juvenile posters will never give him any.
