Now we wont get to see Hasegawa in the US for a while. Hasegawa would have faced Vic next and probably beat him convincly. Hasegawa becomes a big name and we see several good fights at 118. Now the chances of all these great fights at 118 happening took a huge hit.

I could excuse vic losing to montiel or other named fighters, but losing to unheralded boxers there is no excuse if u are a p4p boxer. I think vic is on the verge of becoming another zab judah, all the natural gifts, but no discipline or brains.
vics only natural gift is his power
unless u count his crablike style

Hozumi said he wanted to fight Darchinyan or Arce anyways. It was either that or move up because making Bantamweight was getting difficult for him. That is what he said.

Vic losing = lower class in a slump for a while. Best fighter though Is Hasegawa and I would love to see him and Nonito face off but there is no chance of that happening anytime soon.

Indeed would of been nice to see Hasegawa fighting Vic in the U.S this year it was starting to remind me of when In Jin Chi gave Erik Morales a small challenge to beat some guy or something like that if Morales wanted In Jin to come to the U.S, once Erik handled that challenge it was on!!, In Jin came to the U.S and they had a superfight with lots of action, this was looking related to that but fuck man this just ruins it, I had never even heard of Agbeko, damn it!.

It does kinda suck though but I doubt Darchy was gonna fight Hozumi even if he would have beaten Agbeko. There was a reason why out of all Bantam champs, Darchinyan went for the weakest and not the Undisputed champ.

Vic went after Agbecko because Montiel vs Morel was already schedule to happen this summer until Montiel got hurt or something like that.So other than that the only other big name was Hasegawa which was already rumored in japan to happen after this fight (hence hasegawa fighting a few days after this fight)
also what makes you think Hasegawa vs Vic would happen flicker? Hasegawa wants to come to the U.S. and the rumors flying around in Japan are that he would come over for a Vic fight (I read from certain sites on it). Japanese boxers make good money over their in japan so there is no need to come over here except for a big time fight. Also vic is so damn confident in his skills that he has mentioned he wants to move up to face pac. hell he even mentioned he would move up to light middle weight to face De La Hoya....lol gotta love his attitude even though he is ridiculous with it at times.Last edited by Khalid X; 07-13-2009, 01:13 AM.
