Williams has Margarito and Winky Wright as wins on his resume. Clottey has Zab Judah and Diego Corrales as wins on his resume. Arum hasn't made an offer for Mosley to fight Clottey. Williams is the obvious choice. And Berto already has a fight lined up with Collazo. Berto is scared of fighting someone with power, and that's why Dibella is rolling with this rematch. He knows Collazo doesn't have the power to put Berto in serious trouble. But if this rematch helps other fights that are meaningful get made, like a Mosley-Williams fight, then I'm all for it.

I agree with your list but I dont see Floyd hurting Cotto. He is just not that type of fighter. I would be a good matchup and it would all depend on how well Cotto can close the ring and being an effective agressor. Cotto has trouble with bigger men that can go toe to toe with him. That is just not in Mayweather's DNA.

Mayweather's not a big power puncher but he is an accurate
, speed puncher and has excellent counter ability which would
give Cotto problems because when Cotto swings and misses
Floyd will make him pay for it. Plus Cotto is just too vulnerable.
Clottey was catching him clean when he let his hands go. Floyd
is good under pressure, Cotto is not. All you have to do is take
Cotto's punch away from him and he's yours. It would be competitive
but I see Floyd stopping Cotto from clean accurate punching. Plus
Floyd defense is sick, can't see Cotto dictating the fight. The power
shots Judah caught Floyd with up to the 5th round had Cotto almost
on linguini legs. I think Floyd has the better chin of the two. Anything
can happen come fight night but I would have Floyd as the favorite.
Floyd is also an inch taller than Cotto and has the longer reach,
Floyd is just a better complete fighter/Boxer than Cotto. Just so
people don't get the wrong idea like I'm riding Floyd I also feel
Williams would annihilate Cotto too and is probably the only fighter
that would give Floyd hell and possibly win, if Paul came to the ring
with his A game.

1. Mosley will do what he did to Margo and that was go to the body in the first round with some wicked punch. Williams may crumble immediately , if not and Mosley will press the fight it won't go 5 and Williams will be KO'd.

Mosley will KO Madeweather :

1. I don't think Madeweather will ever fight him, he is truly chicken of Mosley.

2. If they did , the lef hook will go past the shoulder roll and Ownedweather will be counting stars instead of money.

IF the MOSLEY that whopped Margo will come out of the corner and fight , then whoever fights him is gonna have to kill every hair on him to beat him.

And a victory over Clottey wouldn't really do anything for Mosley's career marketability wise. The top fighters like Cotto, Mayweather, and Pacquiao would still probably avoid him. I think maybe Cotto would fight him again. But there would be absolutely no excuse for those guys to avoid Mosley if he scored a victory over Paul Williams.

ok so if Paul Williams is serious, here's the opening that they've been waiting for.....PWill isn't tied to any fight right now, nor is Mosley, therefore barring money disputes there should be NO reason why they cannont sign a contract and face each other.......I'm sure Msley will go after Berto's title which would be a very easy fight for him....Berto needs to be exposed, I'm sick and tired of all that bs holding he does!!!

If I were shane, he should mock floyd Mayweather into agreeing to fight him, try to get into Floyd's skin, like ricky hatton did, Hatton was then quote as saying "I am Floyd's worst nightmare" in turn Mayweather, who was already thinking of retiring after the DLH fight, found the hitman's comments personal and finally agreed to fight Ricky Hatton.

Mayweather should beat Marquez and I think the Cotto-Pacquiao fight would be a hard, punishing match for both men and its likely a tuneup in 2010 would took place first, particularly if Cotto wins, Mosley could took a year off (rather than take a risk fighting Berto, Clottey or Williams) and Floyd might think Sugar grew old and we'd see Mosley-Mayweather finally come to fruitution.

of course, that wont happen if Pacman knocks out Cotto similar to what he did to Ricky Hatton.
