Didn't he make a controversial comment a year or so ago, bragging about exploiting Blacks and Hispanics in boxing? Does anyone remember the details about that?

I remember the article being mentioned of him saying that, it came down to him saying his job is to collect paychecks and let the blacks and hispanics do the work. Dont know who he said this to, but it was definitely mentioned here a year ago
People throw **** around when they don't know wtf they're talking about. Accusing someone of a racist or 1 comment is some nitpicking ****.
Arum isn't politically correct, like America wants to make everyone, he's promoted all races and nationalities. A racist wouldn't associate with let alone get money for a anyone that wasn't their own. The context in which he used friggin Argentinean is not racist.
C'mon, a dude that old has to be a little racist; he's lived through a lot of changes in society, he was alive when racism was more in the open. (Hell, maybe he's experienced racism against him for being ***ish.) I mean, everybody (all of us) have some element of prejudice in us, no matter how small or whether we'll admit it or not. I'm not saying everybody is a KKK mofo in disguise, I'm saying we all have some sort of perspective on people we don't know, some type of fear or dislike of the unknown.
But more than anything Bob Arum is a money guy. Everything about him is money related. We all need money to survive, but everything Arum ever says revolves around cold hard cash. That's why his and other promoters' opinions on stuff rather than business are things I choose to ignore. It's like everything he says is in some way related to getting him more money.
Bob's soul is colored green... because money has been eating away at it for decades... OK, a little too much on my part, I admit... but still...
