    It's great if a fighter goes in the ring and gives it his all and would never back down, and boxers SHOULD be applauded for this

    But that doesn't mean you have to be so harsh on those who choose not to. At the end of the day, it's their career, it's their life, and who are we to judge them

      I for one, don't care for all the stories leading up to the fight because it shows you can't just throw support to someone and boom, they become a superstar, it has to be a natural progression, like Manny Pacquiao.

        its one thing to quit to survive another day but to quit on some "IM TO YOUNG TO BE GETTING BET ON". this was crucial gut check & he failed.

          Agree man, there is a difference here. Ortiz didn't want to gamble on landing another big shot.
