As far as betting **** even expert-wise, Cotto's never been an underdog. He was a a slight favorite against Mosley and at least a -200 against everyone else.

If bookies were gonna have Pacquiao-Mayweather open even, then Pacquiao will be the favorite in this fight. The odds will change depending on the betting, but they won't change much. The odds will get closer come fight night, I expect a lot of people to take the odds on Coto.

I love big fights. This one will be for the ages.

Does Cotto have too good pure boxing skills for Manny?

Bigger guy, Manny hasnt fought a prime bigger guy. Oscar was a shell, Hatton was just ****.

hes going to need more than just pure boxing skills for manny...

he have been in the ring with top quality fighters, so i think cotto is ready for whatever manny is going to bring..... he have fac ed all kind of opposition...

not manny.... but very good top quality fighters... its gonna be a hell of a fight

only in Puerto Rico as far as I know....

and it was because the ppl here... were just rooting for him cos they felt in love with quintana's .... deep in the heart they knew that cotto was going to beat him.. but ppl here were just looking for something big to celebrate...

now its different.. cotto have earn step by step the boxing community here in puerto rico.. not because of his character but because of his work in the ring....

I've gone for Cotto in all his fights, but Pacquiao is gonna put it on him. Manny puts up 70+ punches per round if you let him; Cotto doesn't know how to stop that and he gets hit a ton. No va se abuso tampoco cuz Cotto isn't a chump and he's gonna keep it close, might even hurt Pac, but MP is gonna cut him, put him on the defensive, and make him get tired.

Margarito really took something away from him, he doesn't move as well as he did in the beginning of that fight or the Gomez and Mosley fights, it's straight back now. Look at how much Quintana hit him in their fight, that's how it's gonna be, if Cotto wants to win he needs Steward to gameplan or to eat those punches early and come from behind.

yeah... the big advantage that manny has that cotto just wont be able to match no matter what he do... is the stamina....

anyway.. im just waiting for the fight!!!!!

im sure gonna get some good odds !!!

and wtf.. all in.. if he lose he will be losing agaisnt the best of this decade and defintely and atg

Why Cotto fans think that Pacquiao has a better chance to win? If you read carefully this post some of them explain it to you. Some of them think that Cotto has lost a lot of stamina due to the excess of punishment received in his last fights. And by the other hand others think that speed is Pacquiao's most lethal weapon that Cotto won't be able to match. I heard some sport analyst in P.R. radio talking about Cotto's limitations for this fight: "You can't face what you can't see" he said. The question is if Cotto will see Pacquiao's punches coming at light speed all over his face? I hope so.
