I'm guessing it's because Guzman walks around pretty heavy and taking off 30-40 pounds is a ***** you don't want to go through to fight a journeyman. He would have been fighting Yuri Romanav if it weren't for the IBF obeying the Mississippi commision suspension. If the WBO would have gave a thumbs up to the Bradley fight he would have been fighting Bradley in August.

His moms died a few weeks ago from a long bout with a disease I can't remember right now so if you want to hate on the guy for not wanting to fight you can f uck off.

I agree, those are two potentially dangerous fighters, particularly Soto more so than Barrios. I don't blame people for not wanting to fight Soto.

Still, Guzman has maybe irreparably hurt his image within the boxing community for his behavior in the last year or so. I think he's a very good fighter who lost a golden opportunity with Campbell. Boxing has a short term memory that lives by the out-of-sight-out-of-mind mentality.

Joan is a bum. I like him but he is a bum. Super talented but just wont do nothing with it.

He is 30+ years old now. He can't renew his career. Not unless he goes on a "name" killing spree.

I do, he was the guy that was about to teach Nate Campbell the lesson of a lifetime. Damn shame he didn't make weight.

Before Barrios and Sotto. The best name in his Resume is Agapito Sanchez.

Barrios and Sotto are not low reward for Guzman at the time.

He's an incredible skilled fighter. He had a bad situation happen at one point. And he's so skilled, fighters use that as a reason not to fight him. Campbell gets away with it because he's not as skilled. It's simple.
