cotto was the undefeated CHAMPION when he fought mosley, mosley was still tyring to revive his career then....he was happy to get the fight.

both guys made the same amount for margarito, about 2 mil, but cotto ended up getting a lil' more, b/c cotto-margarito was PPV, so they split the revenue.

cotto doesn't have the same "buzz" about him now, as he did then, unless the fight is being held in MSG, which its not......mosley has just come off maybe the biggest win of his career.......so i'd say they're pretty close, now, in terms of drawing for a fight w/ pacman.

remember, neither guy will be the attraction, pacman will be the draw.....but i don't think cotto and mosley are that far apart right now in terms of drawing for this fight......plus, it seems as though the fight with shane would be easier to make, b/c he has already agreed to 40-60, PLUS has said he'd come down to 144.

None of those fights are legacy fights. The only legacy fights for him are Cotto, Mayweather, and Pac man

Mosley would not the credit for beating any other fighter other than Mayweather, Pac and Cotto. Clottey would just be a b level fight that he beat. Berto would be to green when he beat him. And P Will would be over rated if he beat him. Mosley deserves to go out fighting the very very best not the very very good fighters

look man Miguel made ALOT more money than shane did in the Margo fight. Matter of fact the shane Marg fight wasnt going to happen because of money issues for a while. More people know who shane is that is true, but there are more Cotto FANS you know, people who will be the PPV or got to the event no matter how expensive it may be. Cotto pretty much sold out the garden fighting a guy like Clottey. Do you really think shane can do that. Remember shane Collazo?? remember Shane Mayorga, none of those fights sold out and both those fighters are more recodnized than Clottey.

Mosley is just desperately whoring himself of a big payday. He should blame GBP for that. Just a theory, since GBP put up JMM with PBF Arum is bound to make zilch for that fight. So he may just be doing this to make GBP realize that he will bite back if he is left out with no piece of the pie.

yea datz true , none of those fights would add legacy , the only one worth fighting is berto and that is cuz he has the other belt besides mosely and cotto has, Williams brings nothing to the table, and defintely not clottey , he needs to first learn to close a big time fight first , cuz in all his big time fites there is sum excuse, whether he broke his hands against plaster boy, or a so call home town decision for cotto, which it wasn't ,

Awww no, i dont like the fact that Miguel is taking such a small split, even though Pac is the #1 P4P, Cotto also is on the top 10 PLUS is a Champion AND he is being called out, not him calling out.

Anyway with that said, i am very upset, though i hope he still gets more than enough than what he got previously. Cotto will get the crown and the big money split after this fight anyway.

                    Let's go Cotto!!!
