Word. I would love to see the fight at Welterweight. You are probably right -- Roach could well be over-protective, but I think he's just trying to strike a deal.

The answer is simple. Cotto is a welterweight, Manny went to N.Y to challenge him.
The fight must be at 47' or no fight.

Any catchweight especially in the 43' range is only going to taint this fight and it will always be plagued with a cloud of su****ion.
If Cotto's dumb enough to agree to this, he deserves what he gets.

I know there is no beef man! Some peepz just take this **** way to seriously. Anamalistic is good peepz...he just likes to defend Cotto. Pinoys and Boricuas shouldn't be beafing though...but as someone said already, this is a big fight and so beef will happen. Pac is a great fighter though, and no one can ever take that away from him. I see Cotto/Pac as a very close fight.
