Screw it. Age is mind over matter. If you don't mind, it don't matter. I hadn't boxed in 13 years, when I moved to NC I couldn't find a boxing gym in my area so I took up MMA at the tender age of 39. I got no illusions of going pro, I just like to compete and hit people. My skills have definetly diminished since I boxed, but if someone decides they want at compete at an older age (for any combat sports) its all about heart and desire. Those are two things age can't rob anybody of if they're committed.
