Gamboa Eyes Big Things For The Future With Top Rank

Undefeated featherweight prospect Yuriorkis Gamboa is looking for big things in the near future. The young star is now being co-promoted by Germany-based Arena Box and top American company Top Rank. Gamboa appears in his first Top Rank promoted bout on the Latin Fury 10 pay-per-view that features Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in the main event on July 25 in Mexico. [details]

not really been tested to hard. he has skills though, needs much better defense to fight the best. with freddie starting to train those two other cuban fighters, i would love to see what he could do with gamboa, i know its a stretch but they could be great together.

Damn, I bet he is going to roll into some big money. I just hope he can hit the 25 W without taking an L.

it would most likely have to happen at Feather, and I believe Lopez has said this will be his last year at 122.

we'll see though, as that potential fight (Gamboa vs Lopez) will get bigger if both can continue to win.

Gamboa should just leave Arena-Box and stick with Top Rank, the opponents will be better selected and the money will be bigger.
