I wanted to see this fight and I am not a Floyd fan.
The TRUTH is, Floyd does not have any real fans like Hatton or Gatti or ODLH. These three guys mentioned could be fighting a circus clown and people will turn out to watch them fight.
The only reason people would turn out to see Floyd fight is because they think that he might lose. I bet had he faced Margarito, the tickets would have sold BIG TIME no matter what Floyd says, Cotto would have generated interest, Mosley would have generated interest but Floyd always has to relie on other peoples fans and none of his own because he aint got a hard core base. I know he has a bunch of nuthuggers but these are broke ass clowns who aint got no money, the rest are children who still live with mommy and are broke too cus they aint got no real job.

Now you know why the president of Goldenboy is suddenly pushing for a Mosley/Manny fight. The other megafight is a megaflop that may not even happen now.

Think about how much money these hotels make during a weekend fight, AND it's Boxing's supposed biggest draw in Mayweather?
Cotto vs Clottey sold over 17,000 tickets and was already at 11,000 a month before the fight itself.
I think it's more of a case of people not buying into the bull**** anymore.
