da difference is cotto has been fighting legit 147 prime welters, and cotto will come in around 160 fight night, pacquiao will come in at 145-147

The last thing boxing needs is a fighter coming into a fight weight drained, and if Cotto doesn't think he can get below 145 without being weight drained, only someone who is not a fan of boxing would want him to try.

There are too many weight divisions as it is, without adding bull**** catchweights. If Pac doesn't think he can beat Welterweights at the Welterweight limit, he should fight Jnr Welterweights.
