Cotto NO warrior

Firstly I'm NOT hating on Cotto but last nights fight solidified for me that he isn't a Warrior. Sure he kept fighting with the cut, but so has thousands of other fighters over the years. That cut would have been a scratch for someone like Gatti.

I just didn't like the way he was running away as well. He really wasn't firing at that point and fight was still close.

I'm no DLH fan, but even he threw everything at Mosley and Ike late.

I just can't imagine Pac, Marquez, Morales, Mosley and so on running like that. Even Floyd wouldn't run like that.

Cotto is a very very good boxer with great skills but he's not a warrior.

He is a warrior, no one can take that away from him. To be fair, that cut was impairing his vision, and I think Clottey hurt him in the mid rounds. Cotto saw that, on the inside, he wasn't able to land as much, so he tried another game plan.

I agree with TS. The thing is I saw Clottey doing the boxing last night, working behind his jab landing counters blocking punches, and I saw Cotto get taken out of his comfort zone, and retreat, when it wasn't necessary. Cotto has heart that can't be questioned, but I do not think he has the warrior mentality.
