Aw man, this is gonna be a sad fight for me to see. 2 of my favorite fighters going at it. Me also being PR, it's rough to watch. I don't want either to lose but I know it's a great fight to see. I can't see Cotto winning based off his performance last night(I was there also), but Cotto is one tough hombre and I cant' see him being taken out that easily. (he actually puts his hands up to defend his face for the most part unlike Hatton).

Cotto looked a lot slower to me last night I give Manny a chance. Still not sure Manny can not get knocked out tho because its gonna have to go 12 hes not gonna KO Cotto not gonna happen.

              Handpicking

Pac saw Cotto's horrible outing, and big crowd because of the PR day parade, thinks it will up his status. Looks like he's picking Cotto because he looks weak, and will be weaker at 142lbs. Smart move, ***** move, but smart move.

You gotta love this sport. When one falls (floyd) the other rises to the occasion.I was at the fight last night and observing manny's reaction to all the fellow cotto fans showing the massive amount of love to him caught him by suprise. He hinted the guess that cotto's very marketable. We respect manny and we know what cottos up against.

Two things i would like to truely happen.

1.Cotto has to step up his defense BIG time.Do alot of sparring with fast-handed combination fighters.

2.No less then 146.Which he weighed in at the clotty fight.

I would like to know if he's gonna continue with the same coach. He's needs to stop leaning foward. And another,if he gets tired he needs to hold a lil more.Buy some time. He's a guilty conscious man, doesnt beleive in too much holding to win a fight. But is going to have to do it if tired out.

                  Cotto hurts Pacquiao

The Clottey fight was extremely close. But Clottey wouldn't have won as many rounds if it wasn't for the cut obscuring Cotto's vision! Clottey hit him with some straight rights that I know wouldn't have landed if Cotto had both eyes. That being said... Every fighter has their limit. Pacquiao shouldn't be fighting the best at 147. He's too small. Cotto will hurt Pacquiao. Look up Cotto vs Judah and Cotto vs Corley for a preview. Pacquiao might have the speed advantage, but Pacman's not as fast as he used to be at the lighter weights. That's a fact.

I think that after last night Pacquiao would not mind fighting Cotto at 147. I don't want to write Cotto off just yet, but damn this guy Manny is freakin strong at these weights somehow. His workrate is double that of Clottey, and he is a southpaw. It looks bad for Cotto, i'll have to go with Pacquiao. I'm gonna go wit Pacquiao because he is just too good for come-forward fighters. Cotto shows movement but does not punch which is just called running, if you at least jab & run like Floyd/Ali/Leonard then that is called boxing.

Right now, i say Manny by TKO but not really sure about it.

i've picked him in every fight except for the marg fight but right after i picked cotto to win the rematch with a different style.
If Cotto goes back to fighting like he usually does which of course is pressuring and just plain beating the fight out of his opponents then I'd pick him to beat all these guys. Since the Mosley fight Miguel has been using more of a boxing style and has been doing a lot of backing up. Although he is skilled in the boxing aspect, I think he was much more effective as a pressure fighter. But hey, he still is my favorite fighter.
