I think allot of the fight depends on how well Manny takes a true welterweight's punches and even an elite one in Miguel Cotto. Stylistically, I see Manny cutting off the ring when Miguel does the rope thing he seems to not have fixed since his fight with Margarito, but he should be the stronger fighter at WW

I dunno. He has that habit of going to the ropes as evident in his last previous fights. That would be the ideal thing for him to do which is to back the smaller man down, but he seemed to do it on his own more than a few times last night and Manny has some excellent footwork to turn Cotto if indeed he miraculously fixes that flaw of his.

Cotto showed heart last night and i believed he won the fight 7 rounds to 5. He did great even with a cut bothering him in the fight. Cotto won it on my scorecard on the last 2 rounds. So what if he is backing up cause of the cut, at least he was fighting.
