Man, what the hell is it with Manny Pacquiao? I love the guy's fighting style in the ring, but his behavior outside of it leaves some things to be desired for me. Why don't he just clean out his own division if he feels he can't beat guys like Mosley and Cotto without a catchweight?

Pacquiao fights at 140 pounds, is considered the best fighter in the world. Why is it his obligation to fight at a higher weight? These demands aren't put on other fighters. If pacman is a 140 pound fighter and other fighters in other weight classes want a shot at him, it's not pacman's obligation to go up, it's THEIR obligation to meet him at 140 or at a agreed upon catch weight. If no agreement can be made, no fight. Simple as that.

People in his own division are not going to come in weight drained.

Roach doesn't care who the opponent or what weight division they are in. They simply want the opponent to be drained and weakened so badly even an bum could beat them.

Hell, Pacquiao vs Pavlik would happen if Pavlik lost 30lbs and came in on his death-bed as his ring entrance.

How can you defend Pacquiao here? The man is clearly stating he can't fight a 147 fighter unless he drains them excessively. Is that not a ***** move? Why not just say I'm not fighting above 140?

Answer this question, cause I see alot of cry babies posting.

When has Pac ever decided to fight fighters in lower weight classes? NEVER

Shane should be looking at fighting fighters in higher weight classes, not looking downwards. Damn Delaquitter started this fighting lower weight class fighters trend.

At least Pac is willing to fight bigger guys unlike some fighters.

Wow, can they make it more obvious that they're only after shot/past-prime/weight drained fighters?

I was just about to grow on Pacquiao for KOing Hatton like he did, but this **** is ridiculous. What's worse is Mosley would prob take it for the check and end up in retirement like his boss. Mosley has a better chance at beating Williams at 147 than Pacquiao at 142. Don't do it Sugar!

I realize it does seem like Mosley is more interested in this fight than Pacquiao is. But even so, why can't Pacquiao fight some up and coming contenders at 140 like Victor Ortiz, Devon Alexander, Mike Alvarado, Nate Campell, or Timothy Bradley? It just seems like whoever the P4P number 1 is they are such a money machine that they don't have to clean out any division they are fighting in, and to me, that sucks. We had to put up with this from Floyd and now it seems like Manny is following his footsteps, and doing it in a more blatant way really because Floyd got to De La Hoya and Hatton first before Pacquiao did.

Oscar Larios moved up in weight and Pac couldn't even knock him out, but Vasquez KO'd him easily.

Pac isn't fighting bigger guys. He's fighting guys who were bigger but drained the **** out of their body to come down in weight.

He outweighed Marquez by 4lbs and still got his ass whooped.

Two problems in your statement here. One, Mosley is looking for the BIG MONEY fight. Who is the big money fight right now? Mayweather or Pacquiao. Mayweather won't face Mosley because he knows Mosley will hand him his first loss and possibly will knock him out. So who else is there? Pacquiao. Pacquiao says ok to the De La Hoya fight at 147 and rises to the occasion. Now all of the sudden he can't go back up to 147 and face Mosley? Is that not a contradiction? You were 147, but now you can't against Mosley? That's BS.
