Did Pac Really Agree To The Fight?

Everyone is saying this and reporting this but everytime I see a Pac quote, it doesnt really sound like he agreed to the fight to me. It just sounds like something normal that all fighters say. I could see the media telling Pac that Floyd said this and that about him and then Pac responding by saying "sure we can fight right now, my promoter just has to agree on the negotiations". Pac didnt say anything special to me. I think the Manilla media jumped all over something that he was just saying just to say. I think Pac was basically saying, that he's not scared of anyone and he'll fight anyone right now as long as the promoters agree to it.

The story doesnt even sound right. If its true then it seems as though Pac is head over heels to fight Shane but why? Why would he rush to fight Shane when he has 2 probably bigger fights in Floyd & Cotto? It also seems like he just made this decision on a whim without Arum or Roach. Thats garbage and I dont beleive it. For all they know Cotto could beat Clottey but look average in doing it. Floyd could win by a SD against JMM and look super old and rusty. You think they wouldnt jump to take the big money Floyd fight then? Im not buying it and most of all, I dont think Pac said it like they are taking it. I think he was just responding to Mosley by saying that he'll fight him any time as long as his promoter agrees to it. Thats what fighters always say

ok, I just read where Pac responded by saying "no problem, we can fight as long as we negotiate". How is that agreeing to a fight? Then you have Mosley saying that Arum and them are working on the details but he just sounds like a desperate guy that is hoping. I bet you that even if they are talking, its just talking. Arum isnt going to sign that fight this soon, no way and most of all, I DONT THINK PAC REALLY WANTS IT YET! He might want it at the end but I dont see anywhere that he really said that he agrees to the fight. He wouldve said the same exact thing about Cotto & Floyd

I dont care about that. It would definatly suck for Floyd because I think he wanted both guys back to back but its not like its a fight that wasnt talked about. Im going strictly on Pac's answer and the fact that it doesnt really make much sense to jump the gun when he could "atleast" wait until the Cotto fight. I just dont buy it. I think he made a regular statment and everyone ran with it

I agree, people are blowing the quote out of proportion

It just sounds like something normal that all fighters say.
actually a lot of fighters make excuses why they can't fight mosley.

I could see the media telling Pac that Floyd said this and that about him and then Pac responding by saying "sure we can fight right now, my promoter just has to agree on the negotiations". Pac didnt say anything special to me.
agreed. it all broils down to negotiations

            yep, basically.

The story doesnt even sound right. If its true then it seems as though Pac is head over heels to fight Shane but why? Why would he rush to fight Shane when he has 2 probably bigger fights in Floyd & Cotto?
actuallly I don't think cotto is a bigger fight than mosley.

It also seems like he just made this decision on a whim without Arum or Roach.
yeah, pac wouldn't make a decision w/out roach.

i don't think those things matter to pac. it might matter to arum or roach, but pac is a warrior.

Im not buying it and most of all, I dont think Pac said it like they are taking it.
agreed, pac never said I'm 100% fighting mosley.

I think he was just responding to Mosley by saying that he'll fight him any time as long as his promoter agrees to it. Thats what fighters always say
Pac fears no man. He only fears God.

ah hah, Ive been off the net since I made this thread and I just saw where Arum basically said everything that I said. I made this thread and hardly no one ever responded. I cant beleive that everyone fell for that. How could you guys see the Pac response and think thats what he meant? Mosley is just looking like a fool and the media looks like an even bigger one for jumping the gun on something so obvious

Now I just saw the Pac response. You have to give me props for this one since everyone jumped on it like it was bond. Pac never said that in his quotes and Mosley looks like a sad fool right now
