If Mosley gets 40% of that fight it will be prolly his biggest payday ever! Hatton filled the place with UK fans who left all their money in Vegas..Shane cant do all that, skills sadly have nothing to do with negotiability. And in these days, Shane needs money badly!

Great move by Mosley. If he can make this happen and beat Pac then he takes away all of Mayweathers options. I know Floyd will do everything in his power to not let this happen. It is either retire after the JMM fight or face a legit threat in the division. Talented as Floyd is, I do not believe he wants to have to dig deep in fighting Cotto, williams, Clottey or Shane. Most dangerous in my opinion would be Shane and P. Williams. Paul has the "reach" to hit Floyd 20 times to Floyd's 10, bagging rounds.
I also do not believe that Floyd is going to give Pac a 60/40, matter of fact his pride will never let that happen and I'm not saying he should but if Floyd can't stop this fight, I don't think we will see him fight again or maybe he will try to get a young Berto.
      Pac is his cash cow!

        2. No catch-weight has been agreed upon, or even discussed in detail. Freddie will try and make Shane weight 142 or some nonsense where Shane would be a walking dead man.

This fight is FAR from done.

I hope it happens, but its way too soon to start praising Pac when in truth his $$ or weight demands could still kill the fight.

p.s. the last time Shane was well below 147, well Bill Clinton was still President. lol

Boxing 101: Easiest way to kill a fight? Demand too much

True that bruh! But if Mosley wants this fight too bad, Freddie & Pac
        could get everything they demand.

Sugar maybe stronger and sweet but he ain't faster than Pac and hes old. We saw what happened to Oscar during the first few rounds when Oscar was still fast and furious, he wasn't hitting Pac that much and Pac hitting him at will. Sugar as I saw him vs. Marg is slow and Marg was just a willing target. Obviously Sugar is favored to win this by many but imo Pac wins by mid to late rnd stoppage. Lets get it on!

            Warpac!

Fair point, but I'm just thinking that Floyd would 100% turn down a 60-40 split in Pac's favour, and by what grounds could he be defended for doing so? Because he shared the ring his last 2 fights with 2 of the most popular fighters in boxing at their times?

I don't know. I just feel that Mosley is a special breed. Sure everyone is motivated by money, but Shane doesn't get too caught up in it like Money Mayweather who lets the $ direct his career.

Evident in Shane taking the 60/40 split

Evident in Shane turnng down a HUGE payday to fight Oscar the third time in favour of giving Winky Wright a shot.

Both Floyd and Pacquiao are ATG's, a fight between these 2 would help seal who is the best of our generation and the winner of the fight would be most likely considered a higher ATG.

As much as Pacquiao's status and legacy will be enhanced from a win over Mosley (which it will a lot), a win over Mayweather would be much bigger... this would be exactly the same for Mayweather against Pacquiao.

Hopefully, if Mayweather beats JMM convincingly... and win lose or draw Pacquiao vs Mosley I think a Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight would happen early 2010 regardless of the winner because nobody would hold it against Pacquiao if he lost.

he beats mosley, wins a ww belt. do you know what that means? a win over mosley does bigger things to pacs resume than floyd, believe it

if this gets sealed i think Pac and Roach already decided that Cotto is going to lose to Clottey, so they dont want to waste time in waiting for a fight to end knowing nothing valuable will come out (Pac is not going to fight Clottey)
