Rafa, decided to take another fight and fought 3 days ago and Izzy doesn't want any either because he decided to move up in weight and fight someone else.

first off its very hypocritical to call out fighters for taking more money or basing their fights on how much they get then turn a blind eye when it comes to fighters that you like or are your nationality.

secondly you really show some true bias in calling Caballero a mere contender when he now holds two of the four major belts and yet have the nerve to call Marquez one of the two best when he hold no belts whatsoever and hasn't fought at 122 since his with Vazquez

to me it smells like you are hoping for JuanMa to fight either one of these guys knowing they went through three wars with each other for nothing more than it bringing the most money rather than fight arguably the champ at his division in Caballero in what would be JuanMa's toughest challenge to date

I don't think JML is being unrealistic, but he's gotta let vasquez and marquez get some tune ups. he can't be trying to catch them after 3 war and a long layoff. that's a biitch move.

Please. Caballero is overrated and will get his due in time. All this talk is bluster as Caballero knows full well that he can't make 122 any longer and he should count his blessing for getting by the South African in his last fight. Juanma would KO him at about the 6-7 round, if that, if they meet at 122. They will meet in 126, thats for sure, and though Juanma will win it will be a much better fight.

I welcome Caballero's comments; maybe it will help him get some fans that will actually pay him to see him fight thus making his meeting with Juanma a reality in the near future. In the meantime, Juanma is looking towards building his overall career (he does have 5 mouths to feed btw) and has publicly stated that he wants the ring that five defenses at 122 brings. He is almost there and will go up to 126 in early 2010 at the latest. This next fight is just a move to get in Top Ranks good graces. Very smart in my opinion. To paraphrase Roach after the Penalosa fight, I dont see ANYONE beating Juanma at 122 or 126.
