Appears confusion about what fans are criticizing regarding Mayweather/Marquez

Just so that it is clear. Its not the difference in WEIGHT that people are pointing out as outrageous, its how the weight will affect JMM.

Floyd isn't Hatton. He's not Juan Diaz. He's not going to try to physically impose his weight, he's not going to try to bully Marquez with his mass and strength. So the weight disparity won't be an issue in that sense.

The issue at hand is how the extra poundage is going to affect Marquez's physical abilities.

Marquez moved up in weight and KO'd the Lineal LW champion in Casamayor and one of the best LW contenders in Diaz (Juan). Now, what is somewhat being overlooked is that Marquez was arguably losing both fights on the cards and anyone who watched the fights (I saw the Diaz fight live) noticed that Marquez's speed and movement has slowed down at the higher weight. The weight gain has obviously affected him and will put him at a severe disadvantage against someone that uses speed and power over brute strength.

Now, we all know the Mayweather camp knows this. This is why they chose Marquez.

Mayweather is considered one of the fastest, if not, the fastest fighter in the game. And he's fighting at a class that his body has conditioned and adjusted to. Marquez has not. Marquez has shown negative affects of the weight gain.

In conclusion, its not the height or weight Floyd will have over Marquez that is the issue, it is the weight MARQUEZ will be fighting at that is the issue.

However, Marquez agreed to the fight. He feels he can win at this weight. So we need to get over it and just anticipate how Marquez is going to pull this one out of his ass because somehow, this metro***ual wonder McGivers his way out of trouble. This could be another case of Juan "Si Se Puede" Marquez.

Anyway, just for those Mayweather fans that might not understand what other fans are upset at.

Important comments to make. People make a bid deal over size, but if the fighter's style does not utilize his size, then it is irrelevant.

You know what I always say in response to that? How come everyone gets upset on how much that stuff will affect JMM but everyone and there momma says that Floyd is not the same guy at WW and no one ever cares then. Everyone says that Floyd is much slower now, only pot shots now, has hadly no power, can be pushed around and so on but yet everyone rips him and says that he has to fight guys who outweigh him by 15-20 pounds in the ring and even more naturaly

If a thread is made if Floyd can beat Marquez at any weight, Floyd would win the poll, so the consensus is that Floyd would win anyway. It takes more than weight to win a fight.

So you seriously think Floyd could beat Marquez at 135. Right now?
