I give it to cintron, he fought smart and at the end almost got caught but the angulo that I saw in other fights showed up late.

I heard someone earlier in the thread call Angulo garbage and that's ridiculous. I said before that Angulo is beatable, but that doesn't mean that he can't bounce back. This is the same exact thing that people did when Paul Williams lost to Carlos Quintana. Angulo's main weaknesses is his lack of defense and lack of speed, and he will have trouble with fighters with boxing skills. One thing that I do want to make clear though, is that Cintron would have lost that fight if it had gone 15 rounds, because he was done in the 12th. If fighters just kept fighting tomato cans and not take a risk, then we would have fighters giving us glorified sparring sessions and inflated records. Don't kick dirt on Angulo just because he lost a competitive fight with a more experienced opponent.

Urango looks really massive, its a shame that Berto's speed will probably make a fool out of him.
P.S. "Concrete Punch" you are a ***** for putting me on your ignore list for saying that Margarito is a cheat. If you can't deal with the truth and the fact that he got owned you shouldn't watch boxing, nationalistick prick.Last edited by PlasticFlamingo; 05-30-2009, 10:02 PM.

i dunno what the mexican obsession is with slow plodding boxers.... mexico needs a new blueprint.
angulo is no margarito... and I didn't think anybody could be slower than margarito.

Surely it would have been a great time for Cintron to call for a rematch with Martinez, who is now a title holder at 154. Or if he wants to go back down to 147 then call out the winner of the main event tonight.
