Pacquiao: "Oscar hits a lot harder than Ricky Hatton"

    Pacquiao: "Oscar hits a lot harder than Ricky Hatton"

    Although Hatton had built a reputation as a hurtful puncher, Pacquiao said the now-retired "Golden Boy" possessed the edge in power.

    "Hatton was strong but he wasn't like de la Hoya because Oscar was very heavy-handed," he said.

    "Anyway, at this level when anyone hits you it hurts!"

    "When I was growing up I used to admire Oscar de la Hoya, he was my hero," Pacquiao explained.

    "I also used to like Roy Jones Jnr and Julio Cesar Chavez but Oscar was my number one.

    "I was very honoured to actually fight him, that was a real high point for me because of the amount of respect I had for him."

          More proof that pacquiao shouldn't fight at 147. Oscar hit harder because your body didn't adjust to the weight even if Oscar is naturally stronger then Hatton.

            Soon after the fight Manny said Hatton's left hits hard,seems to be changing but then He's not the first person to say that Hatton doesnt hit hard,Louis Collazo was surprised by Hatton's lack of power.

            To be fair to Hatton,Oscar is the bigger man and Hatton didnt land much on Pacquiao

                    Pac did not say that Hatton doesn't hit hard, he was merely comparing Ricky to Oscar. (it's all relative)
