no i dont think he should replace an active pacman as p4p#1 but people are underating this guys skills

I agree with this. If not against Pac then against the real welters or preferably both.

trolling???man i asked a question..why is it that when a floyd fan ask a question on a boxing forum..its trolling??

Nah man, B-Hop is my number 1 guy but he isn't gonna face anyone next. Joan Guzman is...I don't know, WTH is wrong with the guy? So pretty much, all I got right now is my boy Floyd Mayweather. I'm off the Jorge Linares bandwagon and like Elio Rojas, although I've only seen 1 fight, can't call myself a fan.

Because this question provides no real discussion other than if people have been over looking a fighter's inactivity or not. You may be a PBF fan, but I never considered that when I accused you of a troll.

I think most people give Floyd credit for his skills, only a few people on here underrate him... but I might have not noticed some thing you have so...

Anyway, in all fairness... as much as I think Floyd will beat JMM, we don't know how the lay-off is gonna affect him, he might only be a bit rusty, who knows... something we will have to wait and see what happens.

floyd fans like myself appreciate what he does in that ****ing ring...boxing fans like myself appreciate a fighter like floyd because they have watched him blossom into an icon in the sport by doing it the hardway...he worked his ****ing ass off to get where he is and he did it by staying dedicated to the sport and did it by learning and mastering the difficult task of true boxing...what fans on here seem to lack, is the ability to seperate his persona from his ability in the ring, then get mad when somebody defends him, because they appreciate his skillset...don't be mad at his fans, because i know a truly great fighter when i see one, and he is the opitomy of a great fighter and an all time great champion, period...i rarely see a mayweather bash thread condemned like it should be, because most of the posters make comments calling him this and that, and criticizing an interview, yet, forget just how great he is in the ring, the only thing that matters at the end of the day...they hold on to his trash talking just to try to justify their arguments against him---yet, try and act as if they watch him fight and know his style....

you won't get that nonsense with me---because i have followed this mother****er since his amatuer days, and if anybody on her knows how to break down a fighter, it's me....trust me...i know his style---i know how he transcended his style throughout each weight class--i know it all...i also know pernell whitaker's style, roy jones's style, srl, duran, ali, floyd patterson's, sugar ray robinson's style down to a tee, i am a boxing fan, i was a boxer, and i had a style like floyd, pernell and floyd patterson...i studied them---i'm only 22 years old and i know how it feels to grow up in a fighting family and know how hard my father was on me when i fought---it evither kills you or makes you strive that much harder, and that is why i appreciate floyd mayweather because because i know how much he dedicates himself to this sport when he trains and when he fights---he fights smart---i appreciate thinking fighters---i was a thinking fighter---

The view of the general public as well as this forum will change over night depending how he looks against JMM. If he looks great then people who don't like him will say its because of his opponent choice. If he looks terrible they will say he is overrated and always has been. Its the name of the game. Some fans do not know how to be subjective.
