I agree with that.... its fair. "Mr. Boat buyer" still beats him. But like you said, his style wouldntnt beat (KO) him like SSM and Cotto.... but I wouldnt put it past him when the size makes the difference.

He views Cotto and Mosley as much tougher opponents. [details]
Yes Mark Vester Cotto and Mosley are tougher fights than Mayweather.

For simple and plain reasons, even Freddie can see it.

roach is just stating a fact! based on mayweather's peformances against delahoya and hatton, pacquiao will made mincemeat of ugly boy. there is no other conclusion!

manny pac would beat floyd.think about all the things that have troubled floyd in the ring, now tell me that manny lacks one of those things........he's got the speeed and southpaw stance of judah, he's got the determination of castillo, the aggression of hatton(tempered), and the guy actually moves his head.floyd isn't as aggressive as marquez, (and the notion that he turns it up with smaller guys is kinda funny, when was the last time he did that) and he doesn't throw as manny combos as marquez.

as far as mosley, he is bigger fighter with a great beard who'll start bombing from round one, i don't see manny coming out of that **** unscathed.i don't know how he'd react to that.

cotto is a bigger, and slightly lesser skilled version of marquez. we all know marquez gave manny a fight both times..
obviously, all this **** is moot cause they haven't fought yet, but i think overall, roach is right.

Why believe any hype? All you're saying is you prefer Roach's hype to Mayweather's hype.

just a couple weeks ago, this same idiot was saying how mayweather would be a difficult fight, b/c he's a defensive fighter and even if you beat him, you won't look good doing it......now mayweather is the EASIEST fight???? he really is turning into freddie "the joke coach" roach!
He's not being inconsistent at all. He didn't say Mayweather would be easy or that Pac would beat him, he just said that he'd be a less difficult fight for Pac than the other two, not because the other two are better, but simply because they're bigger and more powerful and Pac is small, and styles make fights.

It must be Joe's complexion you like.....because compared to Floyd.....he's beyond a joke.

If Manny can beat Floyd he'll whipe his ass with Cotto.

Roach is playing the media. He is trying to attract Floyd into a fight with words, while also making Cotto and Mosley feel like they are not needed, to see if they are willing to cave to his demands more.

I guarantee that in October, Manny will be facing Cotto if Cotto beats Clottey. If Cotto does not beat Clottey, you will see Manny against Shane.

The Floyd fight will not happen until early 2010. It is simply too big of a fight and will need time to build up.

true that, We have Roach stiring **** up, and we probably going to have Pac fighting one of these guys and getting destroyed on the last rounds......

its what i've been saying all along... The punching power of Cotto and Mosley will be a problem for Pac.

But, I dont agree with Roach about how Pac looked better against Oscar or Hatton. Floyd and Pac have completly different fighting styles...
