Floyd sells more Pay per views than Pacquiao

Even if thats true, like I said he SHOULD be selling more since he is the american fighter and Pacquiao is a Filipino fighter that no one heard of a couple years ago. And yet Pacquiao is rapidly approaching floyd's popularity. That's funny.

True Floyd is the american fighter but you can't really hold that against him when comparing popularity to Pac. Besides Floyd, Pac is the biggest draw right now. If its not saying much about Floyd then what does it say about the other stars out there that are below Pac when it comes to drawing power? Pac may not be the American fighter but he is a exciting KO puncher that gets attention. Floyd IS an American fighter but I would argue that his persona and the demand for someone to finally defeat him is what makes him such a draw.

Well thats my point, Filipino's in the USA will buy Pacquiao fight and american would buy is PPV, America doesnt discriminate against a foreign fighter, If they like what they see then they will pay to see you fight.

So again the arguement about Pacquiao being a foreign fighter doesnt come into it because he gets to tap into 2 different markets which is the filipino based in American market and the american market itself.

The point I was getting is not that the buys get better. Its more like we can't automatically assume they get worse though. I just don't feel that the economy argument really holds that much weight. Good fights will do good Buys regardless.
