    144 is still not fair...

...Marquez' last fight was at Lightweight and he's only had one other fight at the weight. And he's actually a small Lightweight. A year and a half ago he was fighting at Featherweight.

So the Marquez - Mayweather fight is gonna take place at 144 instead of the rumored 147. I don't care what anyone says, that **** is still not fair. We're talking about a career Featherweight fighting someone who's been above 140 for the last five years.

If Mayweather is always in such great shape and usually comes in well below the Welterweight limit, I don't see how he would have any problems making 140 again. The fight should have been contracted at 140lbs.

Marquez hasn't made 126 since 2006, that is more than 2.5 years ago today. You just said 1.5

Mayweather hasn't made 140 since 2005, slightly less than 4 years ago. You just said 5.

Could you avoid twisting numbers in such obvious fashion, so that your bitching might seem a little bit less pathetic?

While I understand people saying Marquez is going to be smaller, the man is a pound for pound fighter with an arguable win over Manny Pacquaio. He's a professional boxer. If he signed to fight Floyd at 144, he must believe he can make the weight and fight. Sure, the money lured him - but that's his perogative. Juan Manuel Marquez signed the fight. Nobody forced him to take it. Therefore, we should probably just realize he's a smaller man and let him handle his business as he sees fit- which is obviously fighting at 144.

Make the weight and fight lol , JMM will take a piss that morning and make 144 , Floyd will take two pisses and chew gum spitting in a bucket for a few hours and will be on 144 and probably be around 147-148 at fight time .

Yes Floyd is bigger around 4 pound , nowhere near the 14 pound difference of Cotto to Pac or Floyd and everybody thinks thats ok , double standards are all over the haters like a rash .

The fight stunk from day 1. I dont care about any weight #"s. Why fight a guy 2 divisions lower than you as a 4-1 fav when you can fight someone in your own division with tighter odds. Not to mention two other top 10 lb 4 llb fighters in your weight class. There is 0 justification for it, and Floyd's own justification can be contradicted very easily. This translates to yet another low risk high reward fight. If people havent picked up on or admit to this pattern yet they never will.

Ignorance is curse buddy , your first comment showed that you are overflowing with ignorance ,," I dont care about any weights " I can help you analyze your mental state , you dont care because YOU DONT UNDERSTAND WEIGHT.

Your second silly comment was this being a no risk fight, JMM is in the best form of his life KOing two elite fighters that have never been KOed many who think he beat Pac , and then to top off he is currently 2 P4P and then a little more icing Floyd is coming of a long layoff and you say its no risk ,,,,

What your really saying subconsciously is Floyd is great and you dont even know your saying it .

Feather, Super Feather, whatever. I see you quickly did your BoxRec research. Good thing for you that there is BoxRec, cuz otherwise, you wouldn't know **** about boxing.

Point is Marquez is jumping multiple weight divisions to meet Mayweather and Mayweather, capable I'm sure of making 140, is only willing to drop a couple pounds to put Marquez in an even more disadvantageous postition. And if you all Mayweather stans don't see that, then there is no hope for you.

Oh yeah, and his fight with Chop Chop at 140 was when??? Five Years Ago, Pendejo. I just watched the fight the other day from my VHS collection.
