If Pacquiao catches Mayweather with a clean shot at 144...

...would he hurt, drop or possibly stop him?

Corley, a southpaw, gave Floyd serious problems with left hand shots. He even had him hurt a couple of times.

Judah, a lefty, had Floyd baffled in the first four rounds of their fight. Then Judah did what he does best, forget how to fight.

Pacquiao is a better, faster more devastating southpaw puncher than both of these guys. If he lands his now famous left hand clean, Floyd has no choice but to spend some time on his back.

I think he could get hurt or even knocked down if hit flush, definitely. So many opponents of Pacquiao go down early, they all say they underestimated his power/speed and are overwhelmed by it at (at least at first).

anyone can knock out anyone with a perfect punch

i don't think Maywetaher will be knocked down or out by a single punch from Pacman, but maybe a barrage would do the trick

The shot he hit Hatton with would've KO'd anyone from 140-147. Look passed the weight issue. I've personally seen smaller guys knock out a bigger guy with one shot. If you get hit in the right spot, your equilibrium will just shut down and before you know it you're waking up without knowing what happened. Kinda scary if you think about it.

But without a doubt Pacquiao has the power to KO Floyd.

Hurt yes KO not likely. Mayweather can at least roll or partially block most punches.

Rolling punches works for fighters who throw aimlessly or without accuracy. Pacquiao is a very accurate and fast puncher. Floyd would really need to pull the tricks out the bag to keep Pacquiao off. It won't be like De la Hoya or Hatton at all.

If Manny lands a bomb on PBF, it's motha phuking lights out for Floyd.

If Floyd does not go back into hidding, and he does fight Manny, Pacquiao knocks Floyd out in 5.
              :fight:

                I agree with this.

Don't see him getting Hattoned though.

Floyd picks his opponents, he'll most likely beat Pacman. I love Pacmans style of boxing and he rarely gets his now adays but Floyd would probably win by points or late stoppage...

I'm sure before the fight I'll pick Pacman to win, because that is who my brain wants to win... But I have to look at it in reality, and I know how floyds mind works. Let me pick the easier fights that make me look better then I really am by avoiding challenges like Cotto, Mosley, and Clottey. And after I beat Pacman its retirement to avoid the welters.
