he doesnt deserve a shot like that yet. he really hasnt proved anything that he deserves to be in such a huge fight. i dont even know why there is a thought of a bout between the two. he needs a slew of wins against great opponents at 140 first. and by time hes up to that status i dont even think pac will be fighting anymore, well maybe he will but itll still be awhile before ortiz deserves a shot like that.

If Ortiz gets by Maidana, should he peruse Paq next? I honestly think Ortiz would have more problems with Bradley then he would have with Manny, but if he gets by Maidana should he consider a Paq fight?

Roach said a Paq and Cotto fight was possible, lol Roach's snakey ass was obviously bluffing when calling out all those fighters. But I think Ortiz should call them on that bluff...

I mean I think Ortiz could handle Paq's power, lunges, and the speed of Paq. I think the speed of Manny would at best serve Victor a view of some fast hands that would even further prepare Ortiz for more legitimate threats in fighters like Bradley....

Pac doesn't need Ortiz.

Ex. It took Trinidad with loaded gloves to cause real damage against Vargas. Ricans without the Trinidad Sr. wraps, end up as decent punchers at best. Like Cotto, they'll have to break fighters down.

As for Paq vs Ortiz sparring: All that was said is that Ortiz was a strong kid, lol and after one sparring session, he never got called back to Wildcard again. Then he called out Ortiz while callin out Cotto...neither of which he sincerely meant.



And if Roach is bein sweet to Ortiz, I wouldn't put it past Roach that the only reason he's bein so sweet to Ortiz is because he doesn't want him to fight Paq lol.

So again, if Ortiz gets past his latest test....I think his people should persue Manny. Get Ortiz a glimpse of some fast hands that aren't entirely that dangerous. I mean who else at 140 punches as fast as Manny that isn't a power a puncher?
