Do people even realise what he had done to be rated number five P4P? It's hilarious. Mayweather himself, after beating actual champions and being on the P4P list for years already was still behind Corrales who shot to number five after doing nothing but knocking out a bunch of chumps (who had actually already all been knocked out by Mayweather previously anyway!). What it amusing is the stock people put on the P4P rankings and of the ranking of Corrales in particular at that time.

Mosley was a very long time, proven, triple weight world champion with great wins before and after Cotto. Corrales had had a few title fights at one weight and one good win against a fighter of significance in Derrick Gainer. The others were never-rans that had already been knocked out by better fighters (Mayweather) long before.....and who happened to be lower on the P4P list after winning more fights against better competition. Go figure.

Mosley is a better win. No doubt. Corrales was very good, but it still does not compare to beating Mosley.
Oscar was a jr middle champion when Floyd beat him.

Shane didn't have SQUAT but his name when Cotto sprinted to a narrow victory.

    Floyd was never hurt..

Shane had Cotto hula-dancing in the 10th.

I see Floyd beating the Shane Cotto fought...but I cant see Cotto beating the Oscar Floyd fought.

154lb Champion Oscar >> anything Cotto has ever achieved.

Shane having a belt or not having one has little to do with the argument. Right now mayweather has no belt, so if cotto beats andre berto, is that a superior win? No.

If Cotto beat Berto it would be the first time he ever took a title from somebody.

Shane not having a belt has little to do with it eh???

          That is weird.

Because if the **** were reverse and Cotto beat a Champion that would be your case in point.

Floyd doesnt have a belt because he retired...nobody took it.

All Cotto has is a VACATED title..that's all he's EVER had..lol.

the biggest reason he didint have a belt was because of the fact that

            1. He was coming down from 154

            2. The rematch with vargas was in such demand that he decided not to fight for the belt at 154 and took a rematch instead.

he then fought collazo and then fought cotto. Had cotto moved up to 154 i garuntee you it would be a unifying fight. The fact that mosley had just recently moved back down is why he didint have one in the first place.

Moving back to 147..at his age hurt Shane.

The Oscar victory is better because Oscar wasn't coming down..he was were he was more comfortable...not to mention ALL THE HOOPS FLOYD HAD TO JUMP THRU.

                  It's the truth bootylicker.

Moving down is harder on an older fighter...everybody but fools know that.

Mayweather has fought every kind of boxer. His resume is great.

Cotto style is the "Hell" for Mosley.

So, it was a great victory but not bigger than all Mayweather's wins.

You also have to consider the performance. Mayweather left no doubt he was the better fighter by far. While Mosley should have earned a draw and rematch will be on the west coast
