Last week, former two division champion Bernard Hopkins threw down a challenge to WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch. Hopkins unified the entire middleweight division, defending the title a record 20 times before he moved up to light heavyweight to win a title in that division. Hopkins, 44, skipped over 168-pounds and would like to go down in weight to capture a title there, and then retire. He is open to fighting Froch in England. [details]

So B-Hop changed his mind, 168 it is, 3 division champ, Froch might as well hand it over cuz he ain't winning this.Last edited by El Dominicano; 05-04-2009, 04:10 AM.

I wouldn't do that yet if i was froch.. He should get a few more fights to improve on a couple of things and then think about guys like Hopkins and pavlik

I think Froch should fight Pavlik first, because that is a very, very, winnable fight for him, and would further improve his standing in the U.S.
The maybe Hopkins. Although I would rather see him fight Kessler, and Bute before any Hopkins match-up.
